Terms and Conditions

Age

All our activities have a minimum age of 18 unless otherwise stated. After consultation with us, exceptions can be made if you are accompanied by the target man.

Validity of the reservation and payment

For equipment rental, the following conditions apply

After we receive your booking request, we will send you a booking confirmation by email with details for payment. Your booking is binding in connection with the confirmation received and you agree to pay.

Cancellation of rented equipment can be made up to 7 days before the start date with a refund of the amount paid. Cancellation after 7 days is non-refundable

For guided activities over a maximum of 1 day, the following conditions apply

Cancellation for activities over a maximum of 1 day can be made up to 7 days before the start date with a refund of the amount paid. Cancellation after 7 days is non-refundable

For guided activities over several days, the following conditions apply

After we receive your booking request, we will send you a booking confirmation by email with details for payment. Your booking is binding in conjunction with the confirmation received and you agree to pay the stated deposit fee or you can choose to pay the full amount yourself

The remaining part is paid no later than 60 days before the start date. If there are less than 60 days to the start date, the full amount must be paid within 7 days of the booking confirmation received.

Reservations closer than 14 days to the start date can be made after consultation with us and payment is then made directly via invoice sent out together with booking confirmation.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your trip/activity, you can do so according to the following cancellation policy:

Travel over several days

In case of cancellation 61 days or earlier, you will pay the deposit fee of 20% of the total price of the reservation. This applies even if you have not paid the deposit fee.

We cancel 60—31 days before the start date you pay 50% of the total price of the reservation.

We cancel from 30 days or closer to the start date, you pay 100% of the total price of the reservation.

Cancellation is made in writing by email to [larssvanerud@gmail.com](mailto: larssvanerud@gmail.com) and must be confirmed by us to be valid.

The price of the trip does not include cancellation protection. We recommend that you arrange this with your insurance company.

Cancelled trip

Scandinavia Adventure Travels reserves the right to cancel a trip or activity if the number of registered participants is too few.

The trip/activity can also be cancelled due to the guide's illness unless a replacement can be arranged.

If Scandinavia Adventure Travels cancels a trip/activity, you will primarily be rebooked to a different date. The choice of dates is done in consultation between us and you as a guest. If rebooking is not possible, there is no obligation to pay the guest and you will get back what you paid including the deposit fee. No compensation is made for any costs incurred by you as a guest such as travel, accommodation, etc.

Insurance

Participants undertake to make sure that insurance is available for the activity or trip undertaken prior to the time of the activity.

Force majeure

The participant has no right to compensation or reimbursement for obstacles or causes that are the participant's own fault or in the event of extraordinary/unavoidable events of significance force majeure. Exceptional and unavoidable events beyond the control of the organizer include, for example: serious security concerns such as war, terrorism, serious disease/outbreak of pandemic, natural disasters, or sudden political or legal action (such as changes in airspace, entry requirements, on which the organizer has no influence).
